Point remains. Why rest players in this game to then have to get a positive result in the final 2 games.

when 1 positive result in this game (even a draw in this game) would secure them their qualifications.

your point is right - this is more important to us now than City on Sunday (gulp). But we need three points, then to get at least a point away from Ajax. Let's hope it's not riding on beating Napoli in the last game(even if they've already qualified by then) as on current form and injuries we'd have zero chance.

And both are home games.

Why would you risk egg on face by losing at home by resting players.

Remember the bbc has an article of how the napoli ultras were stealing their managers car to force him out last season.

Those fans won't accept losing at home

Ben Doak wondergoal sends Liverpool U19s through in 7-goal thriller

Ben Doak produced another mesmeric performance as Liverpool U19s fought back to clinch a 4-3 win over Rangers and progress in the UEFA Youth League

Liverpool: Alisson, Gomez, Konate, Van Dijk, Tsimikas, Fabinho, Henderson, Elliott, Carvalho, Firmino, Nunez

Subs: Adrian, Kelleher, Thiago, Milner, Salah, Jota, Robertson, Bajcetic, Phillips

Alisson Gomez, Konate, Van Dijk, Tsimikas, Fabinho, Elliott, Henderson, Carvalho, Firmino, Nunez.

Big changes.

Back to 433? Not sure but salah dropped finally.
Two children at the wings maybe and firmino up front with nunez

Hitler and the skinhead in midfield (I beleive that's what henderson is now right, the equivalent of anyway)

Yeah,Citeh won't know whats hit them

Assive keeper
Two big cbs
Two grabby full backs
Two robust cms (though slow)

Napoli 3-2… throwing it away! Hopefully can hold off for a win

Looks a lot more 4231 today with fab and Hendo sitting and Elliott right Carvalho left and firmino behind Nunez.
