I asked the question upthread as to why we were running way behind the rest of the games.
Turns out kick off of our game was delayed 7 minutes while officials investigated the goal sizes. One was apparently 2 inches bigger than the other and over the 8 foot limit.

<yikes>
Not raining on the parade but yes it was positive but being frank it wasn’t totally convincing. We’re a mid table team at best.

Good to see the players enjoying it with the fans yesterday :emoticon-0148-yes:

Mid table improving football. Ill take that.

What I would say Norwich , Burnley who are expected to be up there didnt look great while Blackburn were crap.

I still think there's a bit of bedding in to do with this squad. We're also still chopping and changing formation.
Its hard to finalise a starting 11 with games coming thick and fast.
A couple still to come back from injury.
Lots of ifs, buts and maybes, but it feels like progress with the chance of a bit more to come.
A solid top 10 finish would be acceptable given the summer's upheaval, but given the fact everyone can beat everyone else, there's always the chance of better.
It'll be interesting to see who is manager for the January window and whether another loan or two can be made.
I suppose the latter depends where in the league we are come christmas.

Top 6 (just).
