there was another moronic idiot on TV yesterday going on about the gers free kick. apparently they wanted this to be the very first time in the history of football that a free kick was taken from the exact spot that the foul was committed. can anybody ever remember another team getting all this crap for taking a free kick further back than they should have.
Further back? It was 5 yards or so further up the field, the foul (soft at best) was in Rangers half, they took the free kick in St Johnstone's half and Healy was offside when Jelavic scored. I personally don't care but let's get the facts straight any way
I'm sure if you watch it again you'll see how wrong you are. The first free kick, soft I agree (just a push in the back) was the one that was given and that happened in the St Johnstone half. The free kick was taken from the Rangers half. It's now a major refereeing mistake because they took it from a yard further back than it should have been.
Watched it again yesterday an I was wrong, the foul was in Rangers half but the Free kick was taken at least 5 yards away and a yard forward from where the non foul took place, Healy was still offside though.
you are WRONG dev. and anyway Davis had possesion of the ball, blowing for a free kick was the last thing he wanted hence why he tried to get things going as soon as he possibly could. The ref ****ed up by not playing advantage in the first place.
