Just read that Modric wanted to leave us for Chelsea. A team with more ambition .........and money!....but finished up with a rubbishy club named Real Madrid. Funny that!!!!?
 
Mrs B is in Charleston bracing herself for Hurricane Ian's impact today. She and her mate had flights booked to 'get the hell out of there' yesterday...but they were cancelled. So, they've moved to a hotel built to withstand similar events, on higher ground than where they were.

They've stocked up with booze and snacks and are just waiting. Charlestons on thr border of extreme/high impact and very susceptible to flooding...and I thought that I was missing out...

I spoke to Mrs B an hour ago. The centre of the hurricane should hit north of Charleston @ 7pm BST, but flooding will be a problem along the coast. Yesterday, she took shots from the cab as she made her way to a hotel next to the airport and it was already very wet. TV and phone reception is hit and miss but she bought loads of booze, so it's sit tight and keep drinking...

Land and cell phones were not working in parts of SW Florida. Now after hitting Charleston and Myrtle Beach it looks like it's heading northerly,towards Rayleigh and Roanoke (Lost Colony!) Keep in touch with them!!!!

Just received an update - winds clocked at 92 mph but fairly docile all things considered...for now!
 
Good!!!..Meanwhile Fort Myers looks like Putin unloaded a nuclear bomb on the place.The Governor,Di Santis in the past was against helping States after disasters. Changed his tune now,hasn't he. The creep!!! He's spent all those millions telling imigrants to get on some planes which would take them to free hotels,jobs etc.....then dumped them on Martha's Vineyard. Cost Florida's taxpayers millions.....now he is going,capin hand,begging Biden for billions!!!!!

Hopefully, there might be some planes tiomorrow afternoon as Mrs B's due to fly to Boston, but if not, so be it.

I liked Martha's Vineyard when I went there. It's a lot nicer than being dumped in Rwanda!...and they filmed Jaws there. I love Jaws.
