Mrs Chief was asleep after 15 minutes and I finished it. We are now, therefore, out of synch and she'll never ****ing catch up.

I think I can synopsis the first episode but it's a long way to go without this happening again.

If she's pragmatic and not too bothered she'll accept the synopsis. Which is the best outcome tbf.
Otherwise I get the impression she'll never get round to watching it and you can't carry on lol.

I've done it before tbh, rewatched an episode.The thing is you want to watch a series together, but if one misses an episode they have to catch up in their own time and before the next one is due.
