I think 26 on TV and they're guessing more watched online. I don't think they have actual numbers for online and all a big guess.

Same are "the" queue.

The official numbers for several past lying in states were just as strong if not stronger but the ardent supporters are desperate to push this one to record books.

Again 500k lfc fans in one place at one time... twice for Jurgen klopp... just say'n

As of 2022, the first person under the age of 18 in the line of succession to the throne is William's eldest child (and elder son) Prince George of Wales, who is second in line to the throne after his father. If the prince were to succeed to the throne before his 18th birthday on 22 July 2031, his uncle, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex (the King's younger son), would serve as regent (if domiciled in the United Kingdom, as required by the 1937 Act), as George's younger siblings Charlotte and Louis (currently third and fourth in line, respectively) would also be minors. In the event that Prince Harry would be unable to serve as regent (a possibility since his 2019 decision to take up residence in the United States), the next in line would be the King's brother (Prince George's grand-uncle) Prince Andrew, Duke of York, followed by the Duke of York's elder daughter Princess Beatrice.

Wouldn't it be Anne before Andrew...? It's no longer males first.

The stats are now out

250k viewed lying in state according to initial numbers.

George VI, was dubbed "The Great Queue" total of 305,806

Churchill, total of 320,000

Queen mother total 200,000

I FULLY expect this initial estimate to be revised up by 2x in the coming days to justify the expense. Its not like they didn't give people wristbands which i can only assume were numbered sequentially so if they don't know exactly by now its all a fudge.

It is with respect a good but not unprecedented number and frankly they would have probably been quite relieved they regained such popularity over the past years despite the sexual abuse and racism.

There was a team in the quiz last night called the Liz Truss Supporters. That went down badly. The most hateful vile dwarf that I loathe was on it. I wanted to twat him <grr>

**** me. Dis they think they were funny or did they look like they wanted a beating?

I can only imagine the type of dwarf that goes to the cheese quiz night is the same type of **** that brings a donkey to a brothel and then tells everybody about if for years and years :bandit:

I wonder how bad things have to get before people will stop voting for these people.

I think they're already out come the next election. Think they were already on their arse before this mini budget BS, not to mention the votes of no confidence in Liz Truss already too. Couldn't organise a piss up in The Cheese!

She's the type to have carling on tap ffs!

Seriously though the only thing in 1997 that got shut of major was the choice previously was unpalatable to the oiks who could be seen to vote for a commie lunatic.

Blair was a tory with a red tie for them.

Starmer is another of the same type. It has to be palatable to the types thst will swing this

But imo I cannot see labour ever winning a majority cos the snp have wiped them out in Scotland. 1997 Labour had 56 seats in Scotland and snp had 6. Now Labour have 6 and tories 6 and snp 48.

The tories will scare monger in England using a Labour/snp coalition and the sundering of the Union.

That's the only potentially saving grace for the Tories... Labour are in a shocking state.

I dont follow politics as much as I used to, but I'm not sure that's the case anymore. Starmer does seem to have got a grip of tge party and pruned off some of the **** round the edge.

It's funny but it's the usual tabloid tactic. Tell people they are a mess, over and over until it its tge word associated with them.

They're not as a big a mess as a couple of years ago but they're still a mess

Labour have to have a closed door meeting where everyone in the room agrees to shut up or get out.

Those left in have to accept hard disciplined line and not open their traps and say anything that would cost a former tory supporter vote or give a red top a line to attack.

Look at how milliband managed to look a right twat with the big slab. he managed to turn a tight election into a tory majority for cameron what then led to brexit vote.

Look at how may turned a good position but a tight one for tory votes in the house into a minority government v corbyn

look at how boris turned a minority into an 80 seat majority just by going at corbyn.

100% agree with that. They're always too quick to comment, it's always a reaction rather than forethought too.

Yeah, they are very easy to get a "commie" statement out of them that can be used to prove to the gammon it's the same old Labour that will ruin the economy.

Meanwhile on the otherside there's a ruined economy on fire but the red tops are frantically shouting look the other way.

Labour need to double down on being the working man's party.

It's very difficult to feel sorry for the unemployed or disabled when your dragging your arse out of bed at 6 oclock on a freezing cold February morning.

The majority of people don't follow politics, so they are relying on sound bites and snippets.

Better wages, better jobs sounds infinity better to Joe public than a detailed explanation of economic growth.

Labour are their own worst enemy. Constantly bogged down by absolute ****e.
