I was gobsmacked they had sacked their manager, as I didn't think their league position was that bad, although checking the table now, the top two are opening up a gap, both previously Prem teams.

    Madness tbh.

Didn't even give the team a chance to settle, feel their chairman wants them to stay but the owners just have a tendency to overrule and panic.

imagine how many more goals he would get if Arnold was smashing long balls into the channels for him to run onto.

Finished 0-0 so Scotland top their Nations League group.

That means they'll be in one of the Group 'A' s next time whilst relegated England will be in with the Group ' B 's.

Also Scotland now get to be seeded in Pot B for the Euro 2024 group stage draw as well as having a guaranteed play off spot should they fail to qualify automatically by finishing first or second in their group.

Well it makes the payoff smaller but no not happy

Seems to be a split in the board about long term planning and short term gains

If we win the next couple of games everyone will be happy, if not the Twitter ****storm will start again and the owners will react

Do you remember when England were lower in the FIFA world rankings and then had difficult qualifying groups containing the likes of Italy and Germany ?

Well that's now likely to happen again as there are consequences for not winning matches.
