How the **** they managed to charge people for not rewinding the tape is mental or maybe that only happened in the Wee Toon?
If I remember right we didn’t do that. I got sacked from that job. The only time I’ve ever been sacked. Money was going missing. Turns out it was the manager pilfering, I found out further down the line. She had been doing it for years but started to get sloppy when I started. ****ing cow.

My mate worked in one and just watched films all day, think he quite enjoyed it.
It was boring as ****. I remember there used to be those machines that put a sticker on the tape, a number, so ye could keep track. Now and again they made us take the numbers off and redo them. Furniture polish. That’s what un-stickied them. Pain in the hole.
I worked on the checkouts in Tesco, that was relentless and many customers are completely obnoxious.
think they had them during the war. Heard my great granda mention them once.
