I think if a ref misses a decision and it goes against you it’s easier to take than a VAR mistake. Maybe the ref should make a call and if VAR can’t call it within the first two viewing of the footage it goes with the on field decision I thought VAR was going to be used for the blatantly obvious mistakes or ref misses not to scrutinise every piece of action in the box
