I think if Wilson was fit today we would’ve won, as bad as some of the crossing was there was a few good ones. Isak tends to stand still or peel of the back of the defender, Wilson is great at bursting towards the ball and getting in front, it’s small things like this can make the difference

It's primitive football and Palace was the same. This get it down the wing and cross it over and over again is awful for a player that isn't big and strong or just in 2022.

Bournemouth ate our threat for breakfast... Even Dan burn looked 3 ft tall.

It’s obsolete football, no one crosses the ball anymore, your effectively giving the defending team the advantage by crossing. I watched Spurs earlier, they have one of the best players in the world at heading and they never cross the ball.

I’m glad you can see some clear plan because I couldn’t. There were a few floaty crosses but that’s down to sub standard **** like Fraser having nothing else in his locker. As I said there are six players in a hexagonal shape with a massive ****ing hole in the middle and there is no idea how to play this formation. Bruno is not a DM so the full backs can’t advance like they do at City or Liverpool. Joelinton was hopeless today, willock worse, neither seemed to really know what their role was. The inverted wing stuff failed from the first minute yet wasn’t changed and poor Isak was utterly isolated. Really, really piss poor from 1) Howe and 2) the ownership for expecting Man City football from Hull City players.

I think you missed the word loaned from that sentence <laugh>

The likes of obertan, Ben Arfa marveaux Harewood and Leon best would walk into the team...

This fwd line up is probably the worst fwd line up I've e ever seen at Newcastle.

Ironically I think the back line is the best.

Aye good one. If you think Leon Best or Harewood gets in ahead of Wilson or Isak your madder than I thought you were (Trust me thats going to take some doing <laugh>). Likewise if you think Marvaux gets in ahead of ASM or Squidward gets in ahead of Monty the Magpie or any ball boy your tripping.

Kane and Dier scored spuds first 2 goals with headers from corners in the first half
They also had a goal disallowed which came from a corner

I'm going to blame Howe .. He's been to Conservative and boring so far and it's lead to being overwhelmed with championship players... The spirit of the group hasn't helped! Gamereas looked miserable, Isak is a cold fish, burn looks 50 years old, almiron wasn't smiling today, tripper can't cross anymore and the rest looked Bruced.

I suspect the honeymoon period is over and he'll be unable to turn it around just like at Bournemouth and then he'll get replaced by emery or maybe mourinho.

It might sound negative, but that's what's going to happen whether it's this season or next.. Howe isn't going to be the guy.... You can only get so far with a manager that thinks he can teach Murphy Fraser and Longstaff to play football.

A top manager would've been banging on the door to replace them in the summer not just sitting there saying he's happy.

Wilson and max wasn't fit and I'd play any of the players mentioned ahead of Fraser and Almiron

Does anyone think howe could turn it around if It goes sour? He's only 2 games away... mad but that's football these days.

That’s a set piece, very different to crossing a ball in open play. Leicester are notoriously putrid at defending set pieces which is why they were happy to send corners into the box.

He is putting himself under pressure sadly. Because he has been supported. He hasn’t really got an excuse.

We are not wanting to win the league or win top six or win top 10 but this game is a missed opportunity because he is playing things to safe.

Don’t lose at all costs.
No offence but look at the stats. How do they indicate to you a team set up to defend?

I think if that happens it’s a fair criticism. He isn’t bullet proof.

He has goodwill and has done well.

But if we don’t get a win in the next 3 the. We are a quarter of the season through with 1 win.

Bruce got hammered for that.
Bruce got hammered with the club looking doomed to relegation with no wins in 14
