It looks like a great setup behind the scenes football-wise now. Much different to what we are used to tbh. The trick will be unearthing these type of players over the next few years. There will be plenty of them, Chelsea hoover up dozens of young lads that never get anywhere near the first team but could be very good players if given the chance.
The thing for us fans is not to get too upset when they leave, you have probably listed £50m worth of talent there if things keep going the way they are so far. Will be interesting in January

Speakman and KLD, is the answer to the OP. They must be very good at selling the project.
Unfortunately this good form, and extensive showing of last nights game is going to make Januarys transfer window very uncomfortable. I can see a few potential bids coming in

I have been a massive fan of our recruitment. I have said that loads. Championed it. That's down to Stewart Harvey. The model is to buy these players to sell on. Speakman has played his part in that. The rest of other matters at the club in which we are still woefully short.
Recruitment isn't an issue. We should have signed another striker though. That's about it.

Absolutely massive bids tbh, it's only natural if the wizards continue to play as they are.
I don't know how the credit for identifying and signing players should be divided between Harvey and Speakman and I doubt any of us do. Just wondering who hired Harvey, if he's doing a great job and he was appointed by Speakman then he gets a lot of credit for that decision.

Early days, some tough times ahead no doubt including possibility of losing one or two gems, but hopefully some savvy signings in Jan window too.
What I do notice compared to the PL years is we seem to recruit better characters/intelligence, judging the way the young players speak, compared to the ' obviously' 'obviously' crowd we'd used to sign.
I'm sure you have said many times how impressed you have been with the recruitment, the only problem you seem to have had with speakman is the other part of his job where there have been a few mistakes so I understand your concerns with him.
Yep my only gripe about the window is that, particularly if we are going to play two strikers, then we needed at least 1 if not two strikers to cover injuries and allow some rotation with all the games we play. If the Man U loan and the lad in the reserves are any good are they the cover?

Yes mate. I mean you have to look at the club and the AOL. There were 12 vacancies last week,. 12!!
Think it's now down to 5 or 6 now but for me that's where is focus and engery needs to be. Not meddling in other stuff. Anyway, won't derail the thread or continue with it. Understand it's a splitting opinion.
