It's alright mate, you can put up a thread where you deem necessary, there are no headlines at the moment, this one is fine, remember members are in charge of this forum.

Not sure why you think it's strange.....for the size it's quite thriving... Beautiful castle, modern shopping centre, busy daily market etc and of course has the beautiful Norfolk broads.....oh and a far more successful football team (although I could never watch them when I was there)!!

I’ve spent time in Norfolk but never been to Norwich.
I read somewhere that their accent is not dissimilar to the West Country - they sound their R’s strongly and speak with a sort of ‘drawl’.

Ive been there twice [ in memory ] early 2000's on deliveries vaguely remember going down the road where the stadium is right against it, almost? Derby is on a trading estate feels like part of it .. bit like Old trafford !
Norwich had a strange feel about it dont know if it was the roads [ likely] or mix of buildings!

Nothing wrong with the roads or buildings, I know it very well, very clean and pretty City..beautiful Cathedral and Castle.. bit like Wells or Salisbury but much much bigger.

Quite strange comments IMO, no more than any other City for one way streets, some of the older parts of the City have a few narrow streets, as for houses, again no smaller than the usual..Some of the spine roads going out ( Unthank and Newmarket Road), have very large and very expensive tree lined properties... Around Carrow Road over the least 15-20 years have been totally redeveloped as have around the shopping centre. Very smart....Have to say, buildings, no where near muddled as they are in Bristol..

One of the few counties, along with Suffolk that I’ve never visited but Norwich always looks interesting on tv
Might have to plan a visit
