More time on the ball and can use his range. Bit EE fan here
And that's a good thing for Embo tbf. Some players need to get their head up and pick a pass other can do it with their eyes closed, not knocking them but just need to play to their strengths. Embo will be a good player for us this season, he is definitely good enough for the championship imo.

It's proving he's good enough to play in the championship, nothing else. Just because he's doing well at CB isn't evidence he can't play in midfield.
He's not a midfielder. He looked out of place in midfield in L1 and his early performances in midfield this season should have brought 2 red cards. As PH says, he's better facing the play. This isn't a post to slag him off, he's been excellent in defence since that QPR game and long may it continue

Well I don't agree but I won't argue the point at the moment. Let's just agree that he's been spot on this season and leave it at that.

Liquid foortball indeed...

We have two target men injured...

We had to adapt..

We had to find a another way to score.

So therefore, instead of our final ball trying to find the head of 6ft+ striker, our final balls were on the floor. All our goals were passed into the net from through balls on the ground...simply unbelievable football.

On a note of caution...

Mowbray mentioned we have small good technical players that lack physicality and was particularly worried at free kicks and corners.

Last season we 'muscled' out of a couple of games...

If we can move fast and get out passing right we should be okay?

dont want to sound defeatist but this season was never going to be a “win every game” season. I’d happily take being muscled out of the odd game if the delta of that is performances like tonight
