Mowbray pointing out that even with talent hard work is just as important. Might seem basic but its bloody important
I was on the fence when Mowbray was appointed but listening to him there in that interview, he seems to be the perfect fit as to where we are at the moment
This is fast becoming my favourite ever Sunderland team. There's so much talent in the team, they all work so hard and they're bold in the way they play. It's so entertaining to watch and we know that no matter the opposition, we will try and take the game to them.
4-3-3 the way forward then, keep playing em off the park lads Just gutted I missed it live. ****ing work eh. Hope those who made the journey are still thoroughly enjoying themselves .
Class game tonight. First 30 was a bit scrappy but we just took control. that 3rd goal was one of the best team goals I’ve see Sunderland score. 1 or 2 touch from each player. Moved it so quickly and could well be a goal of the season contender.
Yeah massively agree. He was absolutely superb. Looked like the player he did at the early part of last season.
I think he is a very knowledgeable football bloke. I was sceptical when he was linked and then appointed and I thought it would be a massive mistake, but i dont mind admitting i may have been full of **** . But everything I've heard and seen from him can't be knocked tbh. He speaks well and, based in what I've seen of us post Alex Neil we look to be playing well. KTF
I’m quick to give him stick so I’ll praise when it’s deserved. Luke O’Nien has been superb since moving into the back line…
He's an old fashioned manager with some modern ideas. He's growing on me, but when you close your eyes he sounds like Bobby Robson
Probs a rewatch out to tonight. I thought the ELLIS TO EMBLETON sub was bonkers. 10 minutes later im saying WTF do I know. Respect eh?
Back in the top six and lots of excitement still to come, some good news about Simms wouldn't go amiss as well, positively glowing tonight, the life of a Sunderland fan is never dull. Safe journey home to the travelling fans who've had a great night.
Aye even in the games he's not stood out in he's still been much better than last season in terms of the basics of a CM, tackling etc much improved. When he gets a bit of time on the ball like tonight, well...
