Quiet telling that Clarke mentioned after the game they have been training all week without a striker.

It’s nice to have a plan!

That was absolutely ****ing amazing game to watch from us - had it all. Drama with Simms going off then we just took them apart with some of the best football I have ever seen us play and I include the stuffing of Chelsea at home in that. That last goal by Clarke just looks better and better every time I watch it and the passing for Roberts' 2 goals were something else

Just seen another replay of it on Sky. Its gets better and better each time I've seen it. Must be about 8 players and 10 or 12 touches and it's a goal. ****ing brilliant, absolutely ****ING BRILLIANT <laugh><laugh><cheers><cheers><laugh><laugh>

I dare bet that not many expected that when Simms went off.

I'm in the UK end of October (unfortunately not a home game), but I'm tempted to put a cheeky tenner on us getting promoted while I'm over

I’ve never before heard an opposition manager say “Sunderland were like Barcelona tonight” :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Loved Neil tonight great all round performance, clever dummy and what a beautiful pass that was for Clarke after also being involved in the build up. He was where my mind went for MotM before I remembered Roberts scored two beauties.

All the attention for the third goal is rightly on the team move and the little flicks that look good.

But the assist itself from Neil is just ridiculous.

And the finish which looks easy was so composed. So quality
