So the footy was cancelled over the weekend because the Police was required for more pressing matters…I.e Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the II’s death RIP <rose> and the security around the preceding events.

Fair does that

These big multi million/billion pound companies called top flight football clubs should provide and pay for their own security or educate their clientele

Hence why other sporting events went ahead…they don’t require the amount of security to deal with scumbags.

There were charity walks raising money for cancer cancelled as well ffs <doh>

It's what the queen would've wanted though.

Very true ... I watched Leicester Tigers away at Exeter on Saturday ... good crowd, lots of mixing on the terraces, sang God Save The King together... exciting, very physical, game on the pitch ... Tigers lost to a last minute score ... copious alcohol consumed but the whole crowd just applauded the players off at the end ... not a sniff of trouble.
