What’s wrong with you choosing to show your respect the way you see fit & allowing others the opportunity to choose how they wish to show theirs?

Why are people voicing a different opinion to you ****s?

Cancelling the games was the wrong decision because it takes away people’s right to choose.

Writes the person who can’t abide anyone having a different opinion to him.

Since returning to games from covid, there’s been all sorts of issues regarding fans at football games. Those sneaking into the Euros final and the scenes surrounding that, people invading the pitch at many other games and hitting players, even the racism at our last home game (and I know, that idiot doesn’t represent any of us) or the Sheffield Utd smoke bomb being thrown into our disabled section in the East. As much as we hope the perception of our sport changes in the media, we have this small minority continue to “prove them right”.*

It does feel as though the authorities felt it would have been better to sit this one out than risk minute’s silences not being observed or chants offending/being out of taste.

* I don’t think they are “right” but I mean continue to fuel their claims and give them more ammunition to beat us over the head with. Giving them content to create headlines with and garner the most attention even when the vast majority of us don’t behave anything like it.

Alleged racism…

Wagging a jokey waggy finger at those racists will sort them out.

Quite simple in my view - some people will either want the match cancelled out of respect - others won't - those that wanted it cancelled and it isn't, might find it disrespectful and even offensive if it goes ahead - conversely if it is cancelled, the people who didn't want it cancelling won't find it disrespectful or offensive merely an inconvenience or a stupid decision - therefore I think on balance the decision was made to postpone the fixtures - everyone is entitled to their own view and you can never please everyone but I think it went along the path of least resistance and people should just accept it - move on

Which doesn’t address the pint why cancel football and not other? Should have been all or none.

Haha the sectarian racist speaking more ****.

Have you had posts removed for sectarian content? Yes you have.

Have you had racist posts removed? Yes you have.

Guess what that makes you? A racist.

There was racist comments aimed at one of our players. The comment cane from behind me. Unlike South Stand very few were sat in their seats, there were more people than seats. Whoever shouted the comment wasn’t identified, they were told to **** the **** up being a ****. Yet you seem to have more problem with the reaction than the comment. Guess why? Because you’re racist,

Now **** off.
Have you got out of bed the wrong side today Ben? You're unusually disruptive for a Saturday morning,do carry on making a fool of yourself.

Whether right or wrong, the decision has been made and the match is off.

I'll leave this open to give people a chance to have a conversation about it, but if it continues as it has this morning, it'll be locked.

Why not look at the spark.

I gave a measured response to a post.

I will respond to the idiots whether people like it or not.
