Baxter for me all day long. Commands his box better and distribution more suited to our style of play.
Discuss.

Baxter for me, yes Ingram has played well and Sunday has been the only real howler but it's also clear he could have done better with some of the other goals we've conceded and he's been quite lucky other errors didn't lead to goals. Agree Baxter's distribution is better. What's the point in having good competition between our keepers if they keep their places after a poor game?

This.

Ingram is a really decent shot stopper and doesn't often have a clanger in him (apart from Sunday) but I don't feel he communicates with his defenders very well and Baxter's distribution is fantastic to break on the counter.

Would you instantly drop Baxter then the second he has a poor game

Agree played well up to now, but I've watch SU first goal several time's and to be quite frank its awful goalkeeping , the shot by Mcburnie wasn't all that powerful , Ingram appeared to go down in installments, poor keeping to have been beaten like that, but having said that he does deserve to keep his place for now, after all if a striker misses a sitter its '' hard luck mate'' when a keeper makes a mistake its usually results in a goal, hero one minute, villain the next.

It was poor goalkeeping and trust me he knows that more then anyone. But he's been one of our best players so far this season and definitely shouldn't be dropped imo and I can't get my head around why some fans seem so keen to see him dropped in favour of a player who no better overall.

Baxter seems to be the new kamel ghilas.... Gets better and better the longer he doesn't play
