The French international star was seen while having Viet Nam's typical dish of cha ruoi (ragworm fritter) on a street in the Ha Noi's Old Quarters on September 4.

Evra was quite surprised when enjoying the pancake-shaped patties that are made from worms mixed with pork, eggs, fresh dill and citrus rind.

The former defender was very relaxed and happy, laughing and talking with his friends during their meal.

Later in the day, Evra was tagged in a range of photos that listed many of his activities in the city. The defender, who was born in Senegal in 1981, went shopping at the Dong Xuan Market, the city's largest indoor market. He also took pictures with many Vietnamese fans on his walk around the capital city.

Evra also posted on his Instagram short video clips of his break dance performance in a public area and 'having my first training session of martial arts called Vovinam'.

Former left-back is in the group of friends, including former player of Manchester City Micah Richards and English actor and comedian Romesh Ranganathan, travelling to Viet Nam.

On September 2, Evra posted a picture of travelling in Ha Long Bay, a World Heritage site recognised twice by UNESCO, on his personal page with the message: "Good evening, Vietnam".

The once illustrious defender's share quickly attracted dozens of thousands of interactions.

The legend of Manchester United was happy with the experience on the yacht and impressed by the beauty of the Quang Ninh Province's bay.

"The scenery here is so great. Everyone, don't be jealous. I just wanted to show off a little (laughs)," the French star wrote.

In Ha Long, the French and friends chose Titop Island as one of his favourite destinations during his yacht trip. They also visited a number of other tourist attractions in the province.

His photos and videos featuring the beautiful Ha Long attracted comments from thousands of his fans.

Originally a forward, Evra primarily played as a left-back. He served as captain for both Manchester United and the France national team. Manager Sir Alex Ferguson praised Evra for his leadership, also describing him as one of the best left-backs in Europe.

Evra played for Manchester between 2006-14 and is one of the best players in the history of the Red Devils. He won one Champions League trophy, five Premier League titles and many other multiple personal accolades during his time at Manchester United. He was named in PFA team of the Year, FIFPro World XI and UEFA Team of the Year.

After leaving Manchester in 2014, Evra succeeded at Juventus with two Serie A titles and one Champions League silver. He also played for Marseille and West Ham before announcing his retirement in 2019.

For his national team, Evra made 81 appearances. He played for France in 2008, 2012 and 2016 Euro Cups and in the 2010 and 2014 World Cups.

Evra, whose has 10.5 million followers in his personal page, owns a clothing brand which comes with his famous slogan "I Love This Game"./.

Found a recording of myself speaking English as an 11 year old, some school project
Very bizarre listening to it 20 years later. The Swenglish and nerves on full display.
I do give it a good go tho with some decent attempts at sounding Brittish I would say myself
