Bitching about one decision a week, when the fundamental **** up is relying on Fraser, Murphy, Longstaff to win games.
Hopefully we'll have bruno back by then and ASM. I think we can get a draw out of this at least and maybe a win. WHU struggle to score and don't look great and our defence looks pretty solid. If we're fully fit, I fancy us to get a 1-1 draw, but if it's the same team as this week, then a 1-0 defeat. ASM----------Isak--------Alrmion --Joelinton--Bruno-Willock----- Targett---Schar-Botman-Trippier -----------------Pope----------------- Prediction - **** it, 1-1.
One huge decision every week that is the difference between those players and a side being top 4 and 11th Roly.
There would be no moans and groans had we got the results we were due Without the bad decisions affecting the outcome of the game
Exactly they'd be saying how great howe was and how the side did enough to win. Roly blaming the players is like punching yourself in the face when someone shafts your lass.
Roly is right that those players are not good enough for anything other than bottom half prem football, but he just doesn't seem to have any patience or give an ounze of understanding to the time it'll take for Newcastle to progress. It's only 13 games until the next window and perhaps they have a bigger and better option than what was available last week. Next season I think it'll start to snowball
The games are a lot more enjoyable to watch now. We have plenty of weaknesses but we have a manager who wants to play and players who are trying to play attractive football. We have owners who clearly see this as a long term project. Don’t get the mentality of those fans who want it all to happen instantly.
It's better, but expectations have risen to an unrealistic level as usual within this fanbase. It's been two windows since the takeover, there's FFP and the club was a gutless quivering mess without a win only 10 months ago, but here we go again with the lack of patience and over inflation of the clubs stature. Nufc is a nothing club outside newcastle that hasn't had any success for 60 years bar a few rare flirts at the top under Keegan and Robson. It's going well, but this season will be season in consolidation while the foundations are completed. 5 to 10 years.
You are generalising again. This forum is a good microcosm of our fanbase as a whole. The usual mix of those who want instant success, those who allow their team bias to influence any opinion they have, those who are just pleased to be watching decent football again and appreciate an ownership who arent just in it for the money. Then there is the occasional Sunderland supporter and the odd WUM or two.
It's a well known observation of our fans as a collective sadly. Thet don't like hearing it, but it's true. Newcastle is the be all and end all in Newcastle and it's **** all in the grand a scheme of things. It's like those guys that have a done up ford fiesta that's the best in their council estate and they think it's the dogs bollocks, but outside that estate everyone is laughing at them. Thankfully we've won the football fan lottery and they'll hate us like we hate Michael Carol the lotto winner
