So unlucky then pathetic defending - we’re unable to defend balls in. Dare I say it we miss the likes of Morrison Flint etcNeed our subs to have a similar impact.
According to Sky we've hit the woodwork twice today. Just need to stroke of luck from somewhere.
Another set piece conceded from via a header it seems![]()
Makes you start to wonder if we will offer Morrison a contract when he's fit?So unlucky then pathetic defending - we’re unable to defend balls in. Dare I say it we miss the likes of Morrison Flint etc
Nahhhh. We'll turn it around.Anyone worried![]()
From what I saw on my link here abroad was a performance lacking a plan going forward and defensively poor in the air.It did sound like we were a tad unlucky today but hopefully we turn things around in the next few games.
I know they have some games in hand, but Coventry’s position isn’t that false, 1 win and 4 defeats is a very poor start. Even if they win 2 of their games in hand they remain in the bottom 3. A long season ahead for them on this early season form, same for Huddersfield. From what I saw on my link here abroad was a performance lacking a plan going forward and defensively poor in the air.
Insufficient pressure in the opposing half rather just a few forays and yes we hit the post twice and had a few nearly moments - more than MFC did - but we are just not doing that enough for prolonged periods.
And our defending high balls in is now a serious issue to be competently addressed.
Obviously the players to a man have the ability but I’m seriously beginning to question the coaching and player management.
Another point - have we too many players for the same position meaning SM just doesn’t know his best team/formation?
So yes I am worried. The table never usually lies after 10 games and Coventry possibly are in a false position.
You make your own luck.
We don't.
I've seen enough in 60 years of football to be worried.
After another soft defeat confidence in the team will be at a low ebb and we know where that takes us.
