Perhaps the strangest aspect of our signing Wout Faes was the influence from his schoolboy footballing chum... the wantaway Youri Tielemans
... apparently the collective Belgian contingent told him that the experience of playing at the club is 'incomparable' ...
From a recruitment perspective he seems ideal - an aggressive dominant young (24) centre back who leads by example on the pitch and was Reims POTS last year ... just a question of whether he can adapt to the pace of the Prem... but the others certainly have ... so looking forward to seeing him

... we've played better than the bare results so far and should probably have won the 2 home games but switched off after leading in both ...Played very well against, admittedly, 10 men at Chelsea and created enough chances to have won it ...
... but confidence is fragile and Rodgers is being very stubborn in not starting the likes of Soyuncu and Tielemans due to speculation of them being sold with only 12 months left on contracts ...
If you score first, and early, I can see us really struggling ... but if we get the first goal and don't immediately concede (like after both our goals at Arsenal) then it might just be the kick-start to the season we need ... fans are always up for playing you lot ... but you will surely target Evans and Amartey with Sancho and Rashford ...they can both be done by pace ...
