    Without meaning to sound too negative - letting Romeu leave without a replacement coming in would be a very poor decision. And would have been regardless of Lavia’s injury

    Because he plays the same position as Gakpo and it would be weird for us to sign both? But good to have other options on the go so when your first choice doesn't work out the window doesn't shut and we have nothing.

    Not really. If Redmond goes we'll need a couple in that area anyway. And Edozie would be quite cheap. We still want that quality signing which looks like Gakpo.

    Is Edozie first team ready? I'd think we would need to be confident in moving at least 2, maybe 3 of our 10s on if we were to bring both in. Doesn't seem like a priority to me given we still need a striker, DM/CM, full back and potentially CB if Bednarek/Stephens go.
