Big Steve helped turn the game around on saturday and always makes an impact on the game no matter what. He wins everything going in the air and creates chances for the whole team. He doesnt score enough goals granted but at the minute Howard should be in the team. When ever we have our backs to the walls Steve Howard always comes out fighting. Just look in the play offs where we was 2-0 down and Steve Howard played a massive part in bringing it to 3-2 to us. He proved against Derby he can still make an impact. With Kasper kicking we would be able to use goal kicks as a chance to score a goal with Howard in the team. Big Steve needs to start up front with David Nugent next him and Beckford on the bench. Get rid of Vassell as he is ****

agreed proud it has to be howard and nugent, not sure about beckford on the bench, for me he could be dropped altogether. i dont particularly agree with the treatment he got on sat, tho a part of me def thinks he deserved it. players can't play well all the time, but the least they can do is try, and he was def not doing that on sat...............
 
Sven did buy alot of lazy strikers, we had Roman Bednar, Yakubu and now Beckford. But i would rather the Beckfords and the Yakubu to people like Fryatt, Hammond or even Hume
 
bit harsh on vassell, think he has worked hard since he has been here, he has still got it and defenders hate playing against him. He might flourish under a new boss, think Sven's style perhaps doesn't suit him (no width)
