Please stand up and be counted the genius who started that last night. Absolutely hilarious. My ten year old wasn't there last night but he'll love that.

I think Nigel liked it too; he mentioned it in his interview afterwards.

    Makes a change from SaintsWeb.

All saying we have a moronic and girly fan base who Pompey will laugh at, who should sit and not chant all game as they're trying to watch.

Seriously, they're ripping into eachother calling eachother mongs, W****rs, C***s and all sorts.

Wish we had a song for Jos, but, as I mentioned elsewhere, what rhymes with his name. Jos is too close to Jose to use his first name and nothing rhymes with Hooivelt.

    Says you.

So tall he can't be felled
    In defense he's excelled
    Attacks he has repelled
    His name often mispelled

Never said it would be good, did I?

Point taken, but doesn't actually trip off the tongue. Do you think the Northam are up to it :)

When he scores again (i.e. Saturday) we should simply sing: sign him up, sign him up. Have to admire his class: actually celebrating the goal as he scored it.

Truely pathetic and cringeworthy 'chant'. Was very embarrassing, sounded like the whole of the Northam had Downs syndrome.

I prefer the 'Steve De Ridder, Steve Steve De Ridder' chant to the tune of Kasabian's 'Shoot the runner, shoot shoot the runner' song.
    Hooivelt gotta sign hasn't he?

The Steeeeeeve came across clearly on the radio, it made me chuckle when I heard. Both De Ridder and Chappers have commented on it on Twitter but Chappers was complaining that he didnt hear Riiiiiichard.

At least it didn't have the words 'Pompey' and 'hate' in it, or the phrase 'we're coming for you'... those chants get a little boring after a while!

Presumably we would have to shorten Richard to one syllable. And that could be misconstrued.

  19. Annoying and moronic. It sounds like the Millwall chant that gets carried.

I think De Ridder is deserving of a better chant.
