Malinovskyi to Marseille . (looking likely ) He wanted to join us. I'll put a few bob on him scoring against us in CL.
ok, I’ll bite on this but in a different division. I’ll wager that the current top 6 in league 1, will be the same top 6 at the end of the season, but not necessarily in their current order.
Scott Parker lost 9-0 and was sacked. Jack Ross lost 9-0 and was sacked. please log in to view this image
If Parker wasn’t the right person to take Bournemouth where they think they should be going, why not sack him in the summer and give a new manager a chance to make his own signings and work with the players? They have played City and Liverpool away and Arsenal at home yet still have 3 points from 4 games and are not currently in the bottom three. Isn’t the time to judge when they’ve played a number of the teams they expect to be taking points from? Did they really expect to do any better than 3 points, however disappointing the 9-0 might seem?
I cannot believe he survived. I don’t think I have ever predicted a Southampton win in SD’s competition, because I think this guy is a clown. Nice enough man, but a poor football manager at this level.
Lost to last year's 1st, 2nd and 5th place teams, who've all outspent them massively. City and Liverpool failed to win a total of 8 home games last season between them. Beat Villa, who've also outspent them and knocked Norwich out of the cup. Bournemouth aren't even in the relegation zone.
We are going to get Dan James on some sort of loan ain't we and then he will spend his time on the bench or coming on with 3 mins to play when we are 3-0 down , this is so typically Tottenham at the end of the transfer window I just hope beyond hope that I am very wrong
It seems like they've sacked him because they didn't like him telling some home truths in his interview, more so than the result/ position. He mentioned they're massively under equipped at this level and he's absolutely spot on. That Bournemouth side, by Premier League standards, is woeful and they've made zero significant signings; a former Spurs academy player that's been backup at West Ham and a 33 year old keeper that's been backup at Barca is the height of their ambition so far. Compare that to Fulham who've made some very astute signings and are on the verge of a few more whilst Forest have signed almost two teams worth of players, a good portion with top flight experience. Parker's probably happy anyway, he's added a second promotion to his CV and he's left what is almost certainly going to be the whipping boys of the division.
Both managers who lost 9-0 at the weekend were sacked on the same day That's a pub trivia question waiting to happen...
But what will make it any different for the next manager they appoint? I agree it’s hard to see them finishing above one team, never mind three.
Nope, I doubt it. Whoever comes in is likely going to be tasked with being manager for next season to try and rebound back up again, somewhat like Norwich keep doing or what West Brom used to do.
Massive result for River Plate against Chelsea. Big performance by Walker-Peters. Pitch at St Mary's looks a bit of a state, though. Played ok, but looks like ****. Should've won it by more.
