I will totally agree that there has been visible signs of improvement in many areas but our defending has missed the point. Ranting on about it achieves nothing but surely our defensive meltdowns are clearly visible from the moon but still we stumble in late stages of games. The time has come for a change of attitude which is solely down to Nigel when push comes to shove and I like others wonder if a change in captaincy needs to happen. Although I will agree that goalkeepers get a good overall view of the pitch I think the heart and leader of the team needs to be more central or even in the back line. Yesterday, like many times before, I saw what I thought were far too many players with legs flailing and falling all over the place seemingly getting in each other's way which creates panic and goalkeeping indecision. Someone else used my term of Row Z and yet we still want to show our ball skills in our defensive third of the pitch when an organized team would automatically know that this is the time to use hoofball and then follow it upfield. Falling back when we are leading continues to happen and I have lost count of how many points we have thrown away using this tactic and until it is removed from our game we will fall afoul of our weaknesses. We are better, no doubt, but getting rid of our demons will make us even better considering nearly all coaches, at any level, when it reaches the final throes of a match will bellow - get rid of the bloody ball and put it in the parking lot.

What p!sses me off a bit, is that NP doesn't acknowledge to the fans that we are poor at seeing out games but says it was just a mistake..as if it's a one off!!
That's a mistake that happens time and time again and we don't seem to be learning.....bad tactics IMO

It’s as if Nige says at 80 minutes he will haul 2 players off and play the game out with 9 men.

I think you are wrong on this statement .. looking at the build up we seem to have gotten to a point where we are saying " tough ****, you lost the 3pts /2pts because of an OG ... ! NOW COME and see if you can take it off us as we play the clock for the 3 pts .. [really good solid teams can get into a passing "triangle" and run the time out } BCFC is far very far away from being any where near that standard! With King in the mix there was confusion they had not got time to get settled into a formation to allow for him so trying to be cocky passing it around and the late sub ......REALLY SCREWED IT.
Imagine it is a really poor 5th to 24th league and we finish in 7th GD or 1 point behind 6th ... I reckon there will be 4 teams at the top with a gap of maybe 5 -6 pts to 5th/6th................

It's all A.O.K. as Nigel is positive despite late equalizer but it's also about time he sorted it out and not treat it as some "one off" failure. We have done it consistently under others apart from NP and the situation is no longer a joke and a shrug of the shoulder to say it happens doesn't cut it anymore for me. We need a decisive win against Huddersfield to clear the air but another late capitulation will spoil the plot. Seven games undefeated would be a good standard but how those points given away could affect the end of the season remains to be seen later down the road. Get it sorted Nigel and show the lads where Row Z is.

    On holiday again.
Seen brief highlights and however much I want Massengo to play well he just doesn't read the game. He
runs forever but have a look at Blackpool's first goal.
    Just stay with your man.

I know I defend him RP and I agree he could have done better in that instance and I know he does have his faults, but he is one player that will always put his foot in, not afraid to go up for a header and doesn’t care who and how big they may be, breaks up so many opposition moves it’s unreal..
His worst faults imo is he quite often moves the ball too quick, when he gives himself a second, is able to feed delightful passes.. As been said many times, needs to sometimes slow down..

I'd have settled for a point before the game given our record up there, but it was hugely depressing, although totally predictable to see a Blackpool equaliser after 90 minutes.

think I commented game unfurling to usual standard will conceed 1 or 2 goals and lose the point
REALLY SHOWS a lack of discipline they are not by a long chalk anywhere near good enough to pass the ball around to taunt the opposition ..... EX afc Bournemouth manager stated we are nowhere good enough for the prem after the 9- 0 defeat bit like we would be if got there!

I'm pleased you defend him, especially in one so young.
I really like his pressing, energy and enthusiasm. I also agree he seems sometimes to panic and like you say to needs to 'slow down'.
For me he's too fixated with the ball. He needs to 'get his head up' and stay with the runner.
It's not a difficult discipline to understand, I had it hammered into me 50years ago, I have to question - why isn't he been given the same tough love.
