[QUOTE="I’ll be very surprised if Jack Ross isn’t too far behind Should have put money on it - him gorn!!
Should have, Dundee Utd probably couldn’t let him stay once Bournemouth did it. Maybe Scott Parker’s next job. He knows all about losing 9-0, so has a lot in common.
Being over-critical of the board and players, getting trounced 9-0, but that cardie with rings on the sleeve was the final nail in his coffin.
I was quoting 2 in the Premier League, so yes. No doubt others have been in other divisions though Incan’t think of any off the top of my head. I was only quoting what was said in the article about him being sacked as I wouldn’t have been aware of the Robson thing either. Is this where you have the accusation of being a pedant thrown at you?
It feels like it's the criticism of the board that has seen him out the door and the battering at the weekend has been used as the excuse. In Parker's defence, it's not like they've made much of an effort to stay up this summer. They seem happy to bank the cash
It's probably just me, but I have this image of Alex Neil saying "Cheers boss. Oi, Bournemouth, you've ****ed up there, who do you think you'll attract with your budget ya ****s. "
"Parker, take off my bra." "Yes me'lady." "Parker, take off my panties." "Yes me'lady." "And..if I catch you wearing them again!"
I was never a big fan of Parker either as a player or as a manager/coach - his reputation seems to outweigh his performance though and I suspect he'll continue to find work fairly easily.
To be fair, I would never have considered you meant "just Premier League", although in hindsight it seems pretty obvious. It's indicative of how a certain section of football media and fans totally ignores the existence of anything outside the Premier League. Someone earlier mentioned "United" in a post, presumably meaning Man Utd, but there was nothing to suggest it otherwise. That sort of mindset is totally alien to me. It's like calling Man City, "City". You just wouldn't do it unless you were a PL fanboy. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt as you were quoting something else though
