I can’t see Maddison move coming off. Leicester fans would go into meltdown.

Both seem highly unlikely... Leicester have cashed in on fofana and Leeds gave started well and there's mot much time left .

I think Leicester are relying on us being desperate, but we're not. We'd like him but we don't need him. We need a midfielder but it doesn't need to be Maddison. Despite the rumours being quiet, the club have shown that they are quietly pursuing different options for each position. If Leicester don't need the money then fair enough, but if they do then they could end up being the ones losing out.

I suspect they'd prefer not to sell, so hopefully we can find an offer that tempts them without it being stupid money.

 

A couple of weeks ago he said he wanted to move when our initial interest peaked.

AFC seem quite solid this year and NUFC definitely improving, but MUFC and LFC have been a bit unreliable so far.
