Just watched that, really lucky lad and class that he’s back playing.

Wonder if he has to wear some sort of protective covering while playing.

Yeah, he had an assist the other week didn't he. Was nice to see, I didn't realise he was back playing until I saw that.

Medicine these days is unbelievable, we have two lads playing football at professional level that would had to retire a few year ago, if they survived! Now they are alive and still playing marvellous stuff!

Hard to feel anything but respect for Leam Richardson, Wyke and the way Wigan have gone about things in the last 18 months - despite the really weird attempts from fans of both clubs on twitter to create some weird rivalry

Great to see him back playing, takes real guts and courage to come back from something like that

Just a thought, but going to Wigan could have saved his life. It was reported at the time and confirmed by the club doctor there again, they had only just dome cpr training a couple weeks before. So they able to quickly start cpr until club doctor and medical team took over.

Not saying we hadn't done such training etc cause I don't know but at Wigan he went across to the manager who had training and reacted quickly. Who knows what would have happened at a different club going over to a different manager!

so many what ifs with something like this. Like what if Richardson had popped to the toilet, or was over working with another group of players? Those extra 20-30 seconds could have been it.
