Well here we go again with the **** decisions against us costing us points.

Three already i can think of this season..

Wilson disallowed goal at Brighton, no pen for Schar being elbowed in the head by stones, the most blatant shirt pull you will ever see yesterday, it's a ****ing joke and just keeps happening.

Have we got away with any decisions yet?

The problem with many of the officials is that they are not experienced enough to handle big games or situations
They are being Fast Tracked through the different levels of refereeing by the PGMOL with VAR bailing them out
with the majority of Major decisions

The problem with this method is that VAR does not help the refs out with fouls, yellow cards, second yellow cards (unless the yellow needs to be upgraded)

The best one lately is Time Keeping and that is where they can be manipulated.
They say ' a minimum of x amount of minutes ' which covers their arse to play on till when 'they' want, - This I believe should be taken away from the ref in the premier Leagues and let them concentrate on the game
The Var people should take over the time keeping with an official clock stopping and starting so everyone can see where the added times come from
How many times have we seen refs play over the allocated minutes only because the away team is attacking, then suddenly blow as soon as we gain possession

They are not medical experts either, so do not know if anyone is feigning injury or cramp, they have to go with protocol
They have lost the grasp of the 6 second Law for goalkeepers which believe it or not is still part of the Laws, but never enforced these days

these and many more rants are sure to follow

As much as I know you hate all refs, I think you've hit the nail on the head with how much pressure they are under. There are easy fixes to help them out that should be implemented.

Would love to see the six second rule enforced properly too!

Refs in both codes of rugby can call time off, that could be implemented in football as well. Then there is no need for injury time at all

Pickford is a classic example of using upto 15 seconds from each catch he makes even from the 3rd minute of a game
he argues with himself and storms up the pitch to berate anyone, mostly his own team mates, this is time wasting but is never added
because he's good at it and the ref doesn't see it

You could have VAR hit a button whenever a keeper catches a ball. This will start a 7 second countdown on the big screen which fans are bound to count down with giving an audio clue to the ref and keeper on how long he has to release the ball

And you just know that eventually someone will be posting about how they always take longer to hit the button for the big teams....
