Even on one leg I reckon he'll be better than some of the cloggers we've had over the years <laugh>

Isn’t that the risk you take with any loan? Quite like the idea as he’s only a kid so may struggle to adjust to English football etc.

Sounds like an exciting prospect anyway

Of course it is....but this kid is half sound like the potential to be the dogs bollocks....guess not all loans you have a real intention of wanting permanently.

now sounding like its a loan then auto purchase

Think it essentially means we have first option with an agreed fee. Hopefully he performs well and also enjoys it here

I think he's the long term Pritchard replacement.

We have an idea of how we want to play and I don't think Pritchard fits. He was too big a talent not to sign when we had the opportunity and he's still brilliant for us now, but I don't think we want to play with a number 10 and I don't think he fits out wide or deeper.

Embleton doesn't fit either. I think there's compromises to be made at times when talent is favoured over "best fit" but at some point we'll be able to attract both. I'm not convinced Embleton will be here long term.

It was mentioned earlier in the thread about a surprise departure, could well be Embo with this French lad arriving.

Embo had a very poor game on Saturday, and is not showing the improvement expected, shame but he needs to up his game a notch or two imo. O/9 has shown the way its up to Embo to do the same.

Emblo he’s never set the place alight
Just the best we get of him is steady away
It’s a shame I would of liked him to hit the big time
Born and bread in my home village and know is extended family very well
Although not seen the for a few years
Infact my grand daughter used to cut his hair

Both Pritchard and Embleton are funny ones. I like Pritchard but we only ever seem to get 60 odd minutes from him. Didn't think he had his best game Saturday maybe his head was elsewhere. I get disappointed with Embleton hasn't seemed to kick on as I hoped. Always seems better coming on from off the bench. Still think we need pace power height and experience in the middle of the park.

agree with the Embo comments...just feel there is still more in there, hes still young player & maybe another loan move might kick him on further, think he might be one of those we regret letting go if he leaves now

The question we should all be asking Vince is Why only 60 minutes, he trains all week, haven't heard he's carrying a knock so why is he running out of steam as he does
Mind he's not the only one who struggles to do 90 minutes so was ANs coaching a bit lax in some areas?

We saw both sides of Pritch on Saturday, first half he drove us forward and ran his socks off, it was good to see in the circumstances, but he had clearly ran himself into the ground, just why it took so long for the "coaches" on the touch line to see it is of genuine concern and the sooner they are replaced the better imo. They have shown little to suggest they are capable, it showed last season as well, before AN arrived and the academy also went backwards under their leadership, just why they got promoted is a complete mystery tp me.

No scarfs being held above heads...

Striker CM? RB and CB needed

Also Stewart to sign a new contract

My assumption is that Speakman is holding the purse strings on orders from KLD

Only a few days left... of transfer window

Not forgetting a manager who seemed okay a few weeks ago, upped sticks and left us in the lurch...

    Trouble t'mill
