not his fault, ****ing about at the back again, still a positive being 4 games unbeaten in the league
Why do we continue on a consistent basis to do the same thing every time we are leading Tom because wouldn't you think by now we would have learned our lesson? Four games unbeaten is indeed a good statistic but how much better could it have been if we didn't fall into the same trap that has been our failure for years, and not just recently?
We should have won it for those guys who made the trip up to Blackpool. Our away support is fabulous and they don't often get the results their dedication deserves which is a shame.
Could’ve, should’ve, would’ve. The point is it’s six games unbeaten. We were behind twice, got a point and could’ve got three. That’s not bad really.
On paper it’s not bad, watching it was frustrating to say the least.. spells we looked the business, but when we switched off we looked dreadful as usual.. I’m not sure we have it in our DNA protecting a lead or defending properly and it’s purely decision making and lack of concentration.. it’s reckless and will be the decider where we finish in the table.. NP’s tactics to address this aren’t working, which being a defender himself is really disappointing
I’ve not watched I’ll admit, isn’t it the sort of game we’d have lost previously though. There’s always going to be mistakes, we’ve gone 6 unbeaten though which shows we have improved. It’s always frustrating when you miss out having been that close, but we’re definitely improving and confidence must be getting better as well. Once we get our defending sorted out, and I’m sure we will I’m starting to see hope for this team, which I haven’t for a while. It’s frustrating, but we’re Bristol City, we never do things the simple way. COYR
Could have been 2 better max. The first of those defeats was a penalty that should not have been given and 1 penalty that should have been given. The game was decided on a massive deflection. The other game was a given we was beaten by errors.
Thanks Wiz. That they had to revert to that means we’ve come a long way though. You can’t win them all. A point away from home once the dust has settled is still ok, I’d have taken a point before the game. Learn from it take the point and move on.
Absolutely we look a completely different proposition-pace -goals from a number of positions should have been three points yesterday. 2 points given away would have been 4th.
Yep, in reverse, a scoreline of 3-3 demonstrates our game style and skill level earned us a point, strong in attack, mellow midfield and defensive uncertainties.
Should have taken all three from Hull, Sunderland and Wigan (Blackpool are the only club this season to taken the first goal) but these things happen. We’ve turned a corner, got some cracking academy players coming through. Two that can command big fees now, one that if carries on scoring like this could be a fortune next summer. Lots to be positive about. We’ve still got our best defender to come back this season. I think the future is getting brighter after the past few seasons. Get this FFP of our back this season will enable us to push on next season.
We do set up very attacking, which leaves us vulnerable at the back. Personally I’d prefer that, plus It’s playing to our strengths. We’ve seen what happens when we try and sit back. As I previously said a draw at Blackpool was a good result, and one I’d have taken before the game.
