So frustrating - probably the most negative approach to a game from a team I've seen for a long time. It was anti-football from Preston with the sole intent of keeping the point they started with. Sadly we didn't possess the guile nor ability out there today to break the deadlock.
We've had recent debates with some healthy exchanges as to where our problem lies, and this game hasn't changed my personal opinion one bit.
I'll just add something to that. Creativity is still lacking. Dissappointed in Sawyers who reminds me of Marlon Pack playing further up the pitch. Far too slow over the ground and not running the show like he should, Colwill was coming inside all the time to help out but then we had no width when he did.
A huge and welcome change playing on the ground from previous seasons, but Colwill needs to replace Sawyers for Tuesday and so I was told this afternoon (don't shoot the mesenger!) Hugill up top against Luton is definitely on the cards.
