aye, i heard he wanted to keep a rolling contract but thought that was ages ago, any manager not wanting some kind of security in his contract is either very cock-sure of his ability or just waiting for another offer so he can feck off easy...was hoping the 4 week ago one was a 'proper contract'
Why sign it? Sorry like but the guys who are against Speakman also need to see AN isn't blameless in this. For most fans it's Speakman and the club that have been ****ed over and take the least blame in this. We don't hear anything from the inside so all we see is: He ****ed off yesterday 24hrs before a match. Has clearly been sorting this out all week with Stoke, no way was first contact yesterday. He has always had a rolling contract and I have never seen the club gove one before, so who's idea was that? From what Speakman said he had a contractual improvement of his terms in place if he got to the championship which kicked in but the club felt he was doing so well so offered him better which he signed, 4 weeks ago. They then offered him another improvement when Stoke came in which we assume wasn't enough money! I'm struggling to blame the club here?
Am i the only one who thinks mowbray is a good signing as manager. Experience and done well last year
I doubt that Mowbray being at the AoL means it's a stick on that he's manager until the end of the season. There's interviews to do. Maybe there's a nude painting class there and he's gone to model.
He signed it so he must of been happy with it. Too many people just speculating on things, when in reality the only people who know is the club and AN and his agent
