Think he had something else lined up, not 100% sure but sure I read he was away to do his own thing - possibly his own academy
It sounds like he wanted the club to sign first team players with championship experience, not prospects
Odd that there hasn’t been anything official announced by either club yet. Wonder if that has something to do with KLD coming back in the morning. Who knows. I doubt we will ever find out what has really gone on today, it’s all just hearsay and rumours. Let’s see what madness tomorrow brings.
I think that’s obvious. Gutted as with 2 or 3 solid additions I believe we would’ve had a really good season under Neil…
If those players were going to block and slow down development of some of the younger players, your Dan Neil for example, then I see the reluctance. This season is about consolidating in Championship, learning, and pushing on next season. Nothing much to be gained in back to back promotions if you have to spend silly money tearing up the squad to try and stay in Premiership and get relegated anyway.
**** right off. Warnock the dinosaur !!!! Same with Dyche and Keane who people have been saying they want. ****ing no. And no again. And another **** off. Sorry… none of the swearing is aimed at you, just at the mere suggestions of those three managers
So to sum up today, no body really has a clue. Everyone’s angry and are adamant at that who they’re blaming is solely to blame. Loads of people have heard something from the club and every single story is different. I just hope to god that we stay in this league and we find the right man to deliver it. What’s done is done.
Not that I’m advocating the appointment but Dyche is a very different and more modern manager than the other two, ‘dinosaurs’.
Not me. I blame both the club and Neil. To leave a club because of transfer policy to go to a club not allowed to spend is hypocrisy. He also knew the club’s policy. Also to demand a 4 year (if reports are to be believed) contract then accept a shorter one at stoke again smacks of hypocrisy. Not sure how many 4 year deals are out there these days. The club have to shoulder as much responsibility, for not offering at least a decent contract. Don’t blame them for sticking to their transfer model,
After today's meltdown, can you imagine if the club and Neil come out with a joint statement saying he's staying, and all the other rumours are bollocks ? The only thing that's been confirmed so far is that he was allowed to speak with Stoke, the rest is he says/she says I wouldnt know to laugh or cry
