They Live has a terrific fight scene in it <ok>

I must've missed Solid's post about the fight scene. I remember it... John Wayne and someone else fist fight. Goes on for ages and very good. Maureen O'Hara's the female lead iirc. A classic.

Not seen They Live but sounds like a horror.

Peacemaker - 7.6

Finished it last night.

Ridiculously stupid but actually a very fun watch. Few moments in certain episodes made me genuinely laugh out loud.

Its a classic. It's an old Carpenter film with Rowdy Roddy Piper in it iirc, about an Alien conspiracy to take over the world. Aberdude will probably claim it's a documentary...

What no Executive Decision?

With you being such a mahoosive Steven Segal fan.

Btw Duck Soup <applause>

Went and saw Nope yesterday.

8/10

Hints of Tarantino and M. Night Shymalalalalalalalan in terms of the mood of the movie and characters.

Don't know what to say except I liked it but not sure it'll be for everyone.

Fam and I disagreed about the ending. They loved it, I thought it could've been better.

Defo worth watching imo and probably better on the big screen.

Under the banner of heaven is a decent series based on true events.

Bit slow in parts but entertaining none the less.

7/10

Watched “I killed my dad” on Netflix, pretty ****ed up story

Also “the girlfriend who didn’t exist” is crazy as well

Murica

I think the only Steven Segal movie I've ever got through was the one he was the cook on the boat and had to kill all the bad guys with only his trusted spatula.

Not sure I saw it all the way through ... but me too! <laugh>

Also avoid Jason Statham films ... no amount of action sequences can cover the terrible inanimate acting ...

I think that's the only one for me, but all I remember is the topless Baywatch babe bursting out the cake.

Fun fact, the storyline of that film scuppered the planned production of Die Hard 2 which was also to be set on a ship. So they scrapped that script and rewrote the whole movie to the airport instead.

Now now. The Stathum has been in some good movies. Snatch and lock stock for example.

Crank is also a classic.
