But they still have to be in the appropriate points band I assume? I.e. 60+, 40+ etc. The branch don't get 100 tickets to give out to members with various levels of points all at the same time do they?
Yes that's correct. A branch will only be allocated tickets at the correct stage. Eg. A branch applies for 45 tickets. 30 of them qualify for the first stage. 10 qualify for the second stage and 5 qualify for the 4th stage. It sells out on the 3rd stage, so the last 5 miss out. The branch ends up with 40 out of the wanted 45.
Cheers, it was first season in the prem era under Reidy since I was last a member of a branch, Boldon. Wasn't sure how it all worked now.
I know a lad that has got over 100 points and only ever shows up for Wembley. That's the down side to branches. I used to have over 100 points upto the Roy Keane promotion. But we then had our 2nd set of twins and I stopped going to away games for a few years and lost the lot.
I might look into rejoining one tbh, get the bairn exposed to a bit more of the away matchday experience. We have used als but busses are dry so a bit of crack on the way down would be canny. Bolton or Jarrow I think would be closest for us.
Tell me about it. I work shifts including every other weekend, so the piss farting on when they move the weekend kick off times has an effect on people mate. I'll not know until tomorrow if I'll be at the match at the weekend.
