Van Hecke starting tonight hopefully bodes well for us if you think about it. Blackburn are after him permanently. If that was close, Brighton wouldn’t risk playing him in case he gets injured and they lose out on millions. We’re only after him on loan apparently so it makes no difference for Brighton if he’s getting game time in their first team, or on loan with us. At least I hope that’s what’s happening.

It's a hard one as he's not playing for a very fashionable club in Spain, yet those stats are poor when you consider he's coming to a much harder league to score in. I said to the mag at work they are paying way over the odds on a player who's not a prolific scorer.
