That midfield is nothing short of disasterous.
Milner should be off at ht. He can't cope.
There's basically 2 manc committed to slowing our ball down. It took Henderson gomez and vvd about a minute to get the ball forward.
Elliott is bad enough but milner is stood miles up not moving. It's far too easy to keep shape against.
Utd will roll 3 or 4 subs and k8ll us as we tire.

Not many coming out with any credit though at least we got a bit better as the half went on but it would be nice to start quick and get ahead and then play more conservatively .

Lack of competition, when tsimi came in robertson was like a man possessed, now its obvious he's first choice not so much.
No competition for any of the front 3 or back four.
Midfield only Harvey is playing for his place and it shows.
I think the ageing midfield, the large number of injury prone players and the real lack of depth are showing us up now. The only good thing about tonight is that we are only one down, it honestly could have been three or four

So for the 3rd match in a row the famous press is negated by kicking it long to the fast lads, I wonder how long it will take before it occurs that it may not be the best idea for all our players to **** off into the opposition half and leave two cb stood there by themselves?
