I'd take Maddison really. With leicester going down the absolute ****ter, he'd definitely come to us. They wont be able to refuse every bid. I think 45-50m + dubz would be enough. Maddison is better than Willock that's for sure.
Casimeiro hasn’t joined manure just because of the money, he wants to win more trophies, after the presser he had admitted that was bollocks but did say even if I get one more chance ( even for a week) of kicking CR up a height in training it would be with it Honesty at last!
Don't think we're getting anywhere near Maddison. Leicester don't look like dropping prices for anyone based on what they are quoting Chelsea for Fofana. I think they are gonna hold out for a **** ton of cash and will end up with the same squad as last year as no one is gonna indulge them in their valuations. Therefore they can't afford new players and those that are there will possibly be a bit unsettled by not getting moves they wanted leading to a potentially poor campaign. Might be an opportunity in January though if they are struggling
If we can get Maddison for the right price I'd take him. Joelinton bruno and Maddison would be an insanely strong midfield with lots of goal potential which is what we need when Wilson inevitably gets injured.
What's the right price though? Clearly not what we're offering. Even its around its around £60m I'd say pay it, especially as he's playing out of his skin in a crap Leicester team right now.
I think we could get away with 50 + dubz tbh. But if we don't want to lose dubs then 60m. I'd pay it.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love him in our midfield, I just don't think that Leicester are willing to part with him unless clubs put in fully mental offers for him. If they are still struggling in January then we may be able to get him in as they will want to strengthen and will require sales to buy
You do realise that sewage and grey water have been dumped into watercourses since the 19th century - it's not something that's suddenly happened in the last few years
Yes but was made illegal unless extreme circumstances. Pity no one can go swimming these days. Polio anyone?
You can make it illegal but doesn't mean it isn't going to happen without a massive upgrade to the national drainage systems which isn't going to happen anytime soon. Not just talking about water companies not spending, I'm taking about the physical aspects of upgrading and upsizing the existing infrastructure, removing CSOs, new treatment plants etc etc Disruption, land acquisition all necessary before design and install happen. Obligatory NIMBYs objecting, it goes on ..... Too many people, too much development and hard surfaces increase surface as well as foul/wastewater, plus illegal drainage connections and more intense storm events all contributing
It is amazing just how many extreme circumstances there have been recently. More frequently than every other week if I remember correctly does an "extreme circumstance" cause waste to be dumped in to the waterways with 0 consequence. It's complete bollocks
