I thought it was quality fight and very close.

I'd had a bit to drink and will have to rewatch it, but I had it Usyk by three rounds.

Joshua should have put that to bed in the 9th but just seems scared to go steamrollering into the openings he creates like he used to do. The Joshua that beat Klitschko would have put him to the sword. Usyk’s turnaround in the 10th was unbelievable though. Only one person gonna feel sore tomorrow, if that was a scrap on the school playground everyone would be talking about how Joshua battered him.

Guess Joshua goes on to Wilder next but does he ever get a shot at Fury now?

With him being tall will Boro play him in the centre or upfront?

On an MMA side note Leon Edwards beat Kamaru Usman to win the UFC Welterweight Title.

Usman had a 15 fight winning streak in UFC. Described as the best pound for pound MMA fighter.

Edwards was behind on the score cards and knocked Usman out with a high head kick with 55 seconds left in the final round. Brilliant.

That fight before Usyk's was for the next mandatory challenger for his belt. They've got to shelve that if they want any credibility.

Talking of credibility, last night showed that region cannot hold sporting events like these or the world cup. The ring was poor, and the atmosphere was woeful. And that's before the human rights issues.

You notice what Arabs in the Gulf States wear? White robes called a thawb and a keffiyeh. It’s to keep cool in extreme heat. Why they think it’s a good idea to have 12 rounds of boxing or 90 minutes of football in these conditions is beyond me but money talks and the Gulf States have a lot of it.

Typical AJ really. Methodical, controlled. But…..Zero aggression. As others have said he’s a boxer not a fighter.
