The reality is we don't know anything other than they've done well in the market so far. It's not sept 1st.

Everyone is absolutely free to call out whatever they want, but you think they've been naive? I think a lot of people are being naive by thinking we can just spunk cash we don't have all over like it's going out of fashion just because other clubs are. Lots of opinions, everyone's valid.

Right from the start, slow build has been the story. EH said we would have to operate on a tight budget this window... What we're being told, by the club, is playing out. We will sign some attackers - at least one... christ, we need some, but I'm not going to **** the bed till Sept 1st and Wilson gets injured and we've brought nobody in.

Everyone else is free to wet / **** the bed anytime they like, but I'll be no less astounded by it.

I'm assuming people realise there's a window at Xmas and next summer? If they don't sign players it's because they couldn't get the right player and don't want to be so desperate and short sighted that they end up like Everton.

That makes no sense. They’ve done poorly so far. If it’s the same 1st September, it’s a poor transfer window. I get we want a constant love in but the reality is the window has been a series of failed bids, some perplexing. Pedro no exception - I fail to understand how this entire conversation of:

    “Will you take £20m?”
    “No”
    “£25m?”
    “No”
“£30m but not a penny more”
    “Fine”

….cannot happen over half an hour discussion. Same with Maddison and Harrison, why is it played out with prepared bids? Then Ekitike was just embarrassing. Didn’t fancy it in Jan, chased for another four months only to piss off for a Paris bench.

For all the clear progress and bright future, this window in isolation has been poor and amateurish, and that’s being kind because they’ve done so much good in a short space of time.

This is they key point. With the world cup coming beforehand, it's less of a worry to wait and maybe enhance the squad further again in January.

They'll be out in force after we lose tomorrow and come Sept 1st they'll see 2 or 3 more signings and they'll say they're underwhelming.

It's getting boring listening to the fans moaning already. Jesus christ we've got our takeover just enjoy it ffs <laugh>

We weren’t really conceding our issue has been scoring for about 10 years. We haven’t addressed that so in my opinion having the same front line Mike Ashley managed to put together is a failing. Even signing Pedro, If he’s any good, doesn’t affect the first XI.

Our 1st 11 is decent.. Nufcs biggest weakness is having **** like Murphy Fraser Longstaff from the bench or when players are injured..

But they do have the money.

They offered 40m for Maddison, Watford want 30m for Pedro.

We are now offering 26m when we can clearly just offer the 30m we just offered to Leicester.

It's fannying about, tbh, we did a lot better when Amanda's husband was in charge of negotiations.

He signed far better players quickly, he convinced overs to come and offered exactly what people wanted.

They under value both, because both bids are rejected.

Our valuation is for the birds.

They say 30m and we say "nah hes worth 26."

I’m surprised how people are forgetting where we were a year ago vs where we are now. We need to trust our owners.

Not really I mean something is only worth what someone is prepared to pay. Maddison I believe they big 50m and let's be honest he's worth much more than Pedro.

Something can be worth far more than you're willing to pay.

A rolls Royce isn't worth £1.50 because 16 twats all put that offer on the table.
