Well a weekon since Sven got booted anf STILL not a whisper on our next gaffer. Call me cynical but i believe something has gone tits up behind the scenes. Why would the owners play 2 maybe 3 games without a manager?. They obviously knew the fixtures coming up before they let Sven go.

stringer reckons we'll know in a day or so. manager will be with us I reckon before leeds game and may even getto do training on Friday with the boys. looks like it's lee clarke with possibly Keegan. cll me a dreamer but i was hoping the board would go all out for MON with a 1 season contract at £1 mill plus a decent severance clause - that should attract him and still allow himto ttake Harry job at the end of the season.

Clarke for me is a big gamble but is he's taken on then he'll get 100% support from me

I'd rather go a few games with no manager than rush in and have he wrong manager for the rest of the season.

Hell MON hasn't actually said no, its always a friend of a friend that has ruled him out, unless ive missed something.

Yes wizard i see your point but im very surprised the money men in charge had no immediate plan.. I dont like the man but its billy davies for me

Been off the scene for the last couple of days with my daughter in hospital, so can anyone tell me...as MON officially ruled himself yet or not?

Cheers Emilio. She's only four had an Appendicitis about three weeks ago so she is really vulnerable to every illness under the sun right now. She came out of hospital today...let's hope for the last time.

Regarding tonight - a match we can't afford to lose I would say. I think if we can replicate the second half performance against the Hammers over the majority of this match then we should win. But every away match is tough in this division, so it won't be easy.
