Round 2 of the winning run sees us playing under Carrow Roads fancy new bright lights for the second time this week with a Friday night kick off against Millwall.

I think it’s likely we will see the same starting line up as Tuesday, with the players that came into the team, namely Gibbs, Sinani and Sargent having a positive impact on the performance and result.
I saw a comment on Twitter that Gibbs looked reminiscent of a young Howson and I have to say I agree in some ways, Gibbs demonstrated what I hoped we would have had last season from Gilmour, controlled possession with a good defensive awareness. Sinani was a breath of fresh air with his creativeness, a bit more Buendia esc than Rashica - who has been very poor this season and after all the hype I wouldnt be too bothered if we sold. Then comes Sarge - a really solid display from the young STRIKER, he showed that this should be his main position and he helped the cohesiveness of the team far more than Pukki with his ability to hold up the ball and bring others in to play. He may not be as good a finisher as Pukki but he can run the channels well and bring others in to play and with that may bring more goals to the team as a whole rather than a sole contributor in the case of Pukki.

Millwall come into this game in good form and are sure to be more of a test. They’ve got 4 points from their last 2 games after being 2-0 down in both and managing to come back to win and draw.

Let’s kick on this week with another good performance and a win!

Positive vibes!!!

Excellent match thread Suffolk. Totally agree with your player analysis. Gibbs does resemble a young Howson, but that is also a weakness when he's playing as a DM rather than Howson's CM position. This tactical analysis clearly outlines that weakness against the strengths we showed in other areas.

I look forward to seeing what Hayden can add when he's fit again.

But two own goals in time added on against Swansea says much about them. One shot on target, saved, in the other 90 minutes.

I was at the dramatic 4-3 win one of the best atmospheres I have ever experienced at Carrow Rd.

Hoping for an unchanged 11 tonight, perhaps maybe Ramsey for Cantwell (whoever's stronger on the ball). Wouldn't risk Byram tonight, swap Rashica for Pukki on the bench.
We really need some continuity so partnerships can start to build, and to reward those players in good form with a run in the side. Cantwell, Sinani, Sargent, Nunez, Dowell, Omobamidele, Aarons have all earned their shirts right now, and it should take an exceptionally bad/good performance to displace them.

McLean and LB will hopefully grow into it, and Gibbs at DM. I'd be really tempted to swap Omobamidele and Hanley around, Hanley looks so uncomfortable as a LCB.

One change, Onel in for Cantwell.

I presume the logic is Onel will maintain width and help McLean in the left back areas more?

Well suppose that works, Argos is more naturally suited out wide rather than Cantwell, not convinced by his end product over the previous few years. Opportunity for him to make me eat my words tonight!!

The opposition don't like putting the ball anywhere near Hernandez he plays like an absolute mad man on that left side.

Onel getting the nod over Rashica seems pretty damning. On the way out?

I hope Teemu is completely healthy. I would have been happy with Hugill on the bench in his place to give Pukki all the time he needs.
