Round 2 of the winning run sees us playing under Carrow Roads fancy new bright lights for the second time this week with a Friday night kick off against Millwall.
I think it’s likely we will see the same starting line up as Tuesday, with the players that came into the team, namely Gibbs, Sinani and Sargent having a positive impact on the performance and result.
I saw a comment on Twitter that Gibbs looked reminiscent of a young Howson and I have to say I agree in some ways, Gibbs demonstrated what I hoped we would have had last season from Gilmour, controlled possession with a good defensive awareness. Sinani was a breath of fresh air with his creativeness, a bit more Buendia esc than Rashica - who has been very poor this season and after all the hype I wouldnt be too bothered if we sold. Then comes Sarge - a really solid display from the young STRIKER, he showed that this should be his main position and he helped the cohesiveness of the team far more than Pukki with his ability to hold up the ball and bring others in to play. He may not be as good a finisher as Pukki but he can run the channels well and bring others in to play and with that may bring more goals to the team as a whole rather than a sole contributor in the case of Pukki.
Millwall come into this game in good form and are sure to be more of a test. They’ve got 4 points from their last 2 games after being 2-0 down in both and managing to come back to win and draw.
