Or actually 589million people (according to WHO) of which somewhere between 6.5million (WHO, based on reported Covid deaths by country) and 18.2million (based on global studies of excess mortality, https://doi.org/10.1016/S0140-6736(21)02796-3, reported in Lancet, 2022) died.
Just so that @aberdude can write off the higher number the research was partly funded by the Gates Foundation, so obviously the scientists doing it have been pressured into raising the death numbers so that he can profit from vaccine sales.
He may have a conflict here though as the research also proves that the UK reported deaths from COVID were exaggerated by a factor of 1.03, or about 4000 deaths for whole of UK.
so if the numbers have been inflated then the gates depopulation program isn’t working?
You are not really reading my post are you. That's only in the UK. The conclusion of the research is that the reported global (WHO) numbers are grossly under exaggerated and it's mostly in developing countries with large populations (Indonesia, India, a number of African countries) where there are a large number of excess deaths which weren't reported as COVID, but likely, were.
it’s an assumption they were, some view the WHO with some distrust in these parts. (In case you were not aware) my reply was tongue in cheek.
Covid has been a horrible issue globally, luckily science has been able to develop vaccines and treatments. Governments have stopped the long process of price and distribution agreements to get it out early. Would have hated to see the death rates if it were not released when it was.

Not sure because I've never tested for it.......and until a hundred percent test is out I wouldn't bother playing the flip the coin game so they can get figures that mean nowt but locked us down for it
So what do you think of those excess death figures in that paper? What caused them if it wasn’t Covid?

The figures from a post I put up were looked at through the care pathway route which consists of what they call a good death......euthanasia essentially

Its essentially a statistical study of global excess deaths for 2020 and 2021.

..............whilst having a quick browse lots of work to look at and that's without going in individual extracts.....what you did point out and I'm thankful for it was the funding is made by people who you know I think are involved in conspiring against us.......but I'll take a look and see what they say

Rewind back a bit and I always remember the excess deaths being the barometer for people on here's justification that all were covid.....tobes used to bring this graph and that graph up in his defence for his reasoning.
Yet as we go on history is telling us something different 2 the narrative set out by media government health officials and so called science brigade such as chris fking whitty and co........excess deaths are still rising.....why?
Obviously we can add starvation poverty climate change bad foods bad air bad water bad sanitation but that's always been a thing(then gmo arrived raising levels).....what hasn't always been a thing is the new style vaccine that got released in record speeds and major the drop in standards which it would usually have to pass to go through for release on the wider population

I can tell you that COVID has indirectly caused deaths too. People have put off coming to the doctor because of COVID fears. My parents still won't go get their annual checkup because they think they'll get COVID. On top of that, during the peaks of the virus, a lot of routine surgeries and visits (that might have discovered things like cancer, etc) were cancelled.
There was an indirect cost of human lives caused by the pandemic too
It's called fear........totally played by media and whoever was funded by the cabal.

I haven't seen any data on global excess deaths through time running into 2022 but this graph from CDC in US shows that excess deaths (where blue is above the average expected (orange)) are not increasing at present. There are clear spikes starting in April 2020 and continuing through to Jan 2022 which are inferred to be COVID, as there is very little else they could be.

You could argue that the little blip at the end is due to something else (vaccine effects, excess cancer deaths as patients care was delayed/compromised due to the response to COVID and some of them are dying because of that now). The cyclic nature of the expected deaths is due to seasonal illnesses like flu. You wouldn't expect to see excesses due to starvation in these numbers (after all they are from the land of the fat and the home of the obese!).
In the paper I quoted earlier the data had been corrected for a seasonal heatwave (July-Aug 2020) in Europe as that appeared to have led to higher deaths in places like France, where people routinely locked their parents in their apartments while they went on holiday to the beach.
