Yeah the girls under the Vertu stand I was in were excellent. Absolutely superb and didn’t bat an eyelid. Unlike one spectator who was waiting at the tap (on the wall, not a water filling station but still drinking water), when me and my dad were running it on our heads to cool down. Miserable twat complaining under his breath but saud nothing when I asked him!! (Heard him whinging about what we were doing)

Love a Viv Richards story. Met him once, was completely in awe of the man

For some reason this sledge to Viv Richards and his retort always stuck in my mind but couldn't remember who said it so had to Google
    1. During his spell for Somerset in County Cricket, Sir Viv Richards produced a legendary retort.

After playing and missing at successive deliveries, Glamorgan paceman Greg Thomas made the brave decision to give Viv some verbals as to the appearance of the ball.

"It’s red, round and weighs about five ounces, in case you were wondering."

Of course, the next ball was launched out of the ground by the West Indian legend accompanied with the following words:

"Greg, you know what it looks like. Now go and find it."

Hopefully Potts gets some useful advice from Anderson and Broad and Leach has no unfortunate issues.

3-6 is the best line-up in world cricket. Lees has looked good. Crawley needs to start producing more regularly, now.

I know a few who’ve met him and say the same. Sadly never had the pleasure. Met bumble and Botham before. I was about 9 when I met Botham. He was an absolute mountain of a bloke. Vague memory now as a kid!! Bumble was hilarious. As funny in person as he is on the telly

Talented batsman. He needs to find consistency, now. Pope was the same, he's always had all the ability in the world and he was inconsistent. It looks like he's put that behind him, now. Hopefully same goes for Crawley.

My little brother was caught playing as a ringer for Boldon against Sacriston a couple weeks back. He took 3 wickets and then clattered 29 not out off 16 balls to win the game.

He wasn't playing below his level or anything, it all just fell for him on the day.

His son plays for Sacriston. He takes him along. Not sure how he thought he'd get away with it <doh>

so he’s using ifs from the NZ team. Didn’t England also put down a few in thise games? So, what he’s basically saying, is that if both teams had fielded better England probably still would’ve won?
