Oh no..
Have to keep Pedro if Sarr goes.
You must log in or register to see media
Mind you will Palace offer what we actually want or are they trying to unsettle Sarr first?

Why would Palace want Sarr when they have Zaha, Eze and Olise
Quite - might end up like Hughes.
On the bench or not a regular.
Even Dennis isn't certain to start at Forest it seems from what I have read.
I think the fact we were willing to sell him to Forest and Dennis was happy to go there says something.Dennis was good business, a massive profit for a player who has a bad attitude and was not liked in the dressing room
As there is more than one club interested (rightly), there is no reason not to press for truer value. The Premiership has seen what Sarr did to Liverpool at a time when they were the perhaps the world’s best team - how much would you expect to pay Barca for a player of his quality? Definitely not less than £40m, I agree.Would prefer to keep Pedro over Sarr
Asprilla looks a good prospect as well
We should not accept less than £40m plus add ons for Sarr
TBH, I was never a big fan, even when he was our top scorer and the media loved him early on last season. He never smacked of a team player to me. Great business - true togetherness, relentlessly grafting for each other, that’s the way out of this league.Dennis was good business, a massive profit for a player who has a bad attitude and was not liked in the dressing room

It’s all paper bullshit. We have been linked with over 1,000 players and not signed anyone.Newcastle have expressed an interest in signing three players from Chelsea - Hudson-Odoi, fellow England midfielder Conor Gallagher, 22, and United States forward Christian Pulisic, 23 - and are also keen on Blues striker Armando Broja, 20, of Albania, but can only take one player on loan from the club and have financial restrictions on the number of permanent signings they can make. How many players do Newcastle want to sign
No one is laying 40m for a player from the Championship mate.As there is more than one club interested (rightly), there is no reason not to press for truer value. Hi. Toon fan in peace.
It appears we are going all out to sign your kid Pedro.
My question to you (and hope an honest answer) is who is better Pedro or Sarr?
I might be wrong but I don’t think there has ever been a 40m sale or anywhere near it from a championship team. Appreciate you where s premiership team last season and I was actually saddened to see you go down. I would much rather Everton had.Why not?
You forget that he was in the Premiership last season - and missed a large part of it due to injury and the AFCON. Prior to that he was showing his worth perfectly well.
Pedro. He is more skillful, gets more involved and can 'pull the strings' from midfield rather than just be a striker. But, like most other players, he lacks the pace of Sarr. The club neither want nor need to sell him, he still has just short of five years left on his contract, so if Newcastle want to sign him they'll have to dig deep and meet the club's valuation or forget it.
So were we - and we were truly amazed that, had we won our final match of the season we would have stayed up - and we spurned plenty of chances to win it.I might be wrong but I don’t think there has ever been a 40m sale or anywhere near it from a championship team. What is Pedros worth.

Former Hornet Nathan Ake from Bournemouth to Man City in August 2020 - £40.8 million from memory.
Re Pedro's worth - remembering your "it's all paper bullshit" quote, he is 'said to be' valued at £35 million, but I'm not sure that the club said that - in fact I don't think they have actually quoted a figure. The simple truths are that he's only worth what others are willing to pay, he isn't actually for sale as the club want to keep him, they will listen to offers and keep rejecting them if they deem them to be too low. Like the fans of most clubs, we are sick of our players being pinched for next to nothing, whether for actual or potential value. Jadon Sancho is a case in point - apparently now worth somewhere between £90 - £100 million, we had no choice but to accept £66K for him, thanks to EPL rules.
