Pedro, preferably. JP10 is the sort of player to build a team around... Sarr is a luxury at present.Or his head gets turned but we have to keep one of Sarr or Pedro If we are serious about getting promoted.

I hope that he has his head screwed on the right way and knows he is best suited to get games/experience rather than possibly warming the bench. He has a much better, with all respect to Saudi Oil FC, pedigree and potential to realise, than a move right now will give him....yellow tinted glasses, yes but also thinking he has the potential for a top European club as wellOr his head gets turned but we have to keep one of Sarr or Pedro If we are serious about getting promoted.

It is possible that this may be no more than a rumour which has been passed on and grown on social media. Has it actually been reported on any reputable football sites or by any journalists? Jack Stephens is 28 years old and he is right (not left) footed. Does he fit the profile of the type of central defender for whom Rob Edwards is looking - unless someone (such as Troost-Ekong) is leaving?
The Kourtney Hause loan possibility was mentioned at the same time as that of Keinan Davis - I've wondering if it had fallen through.Adam Leventhal has now confirmed that we are in talks to sign Jack Stephens. No decision has been made on whether it would be a loan — with an option or obligation to buy — or a permanent deal. I suspect that Stephens will be the replacement for William Troost-Ekong (who does not appear to be in Rob Edward's plans) if he leaves.
Leventhal also mentioned that we are in talks to sign Kortney Hause (a left footed central defender) on loan from Aston Villa and to permanently sign Matheus Martins (a left winger who also takes set pieces) from Fluminense. Gregg Evans, the Athletic’s Villa correspondent, seems to suggest that Hause's loan to Watford will not be affected by the injury to Diego Carlos. I have read elsewhere that Martins already qualifies for a work permit, but that Fluminense do not want to let him go before the end of their season in December.
It needed to be done, and I think they’ve done very well so far.The Kourtney Hause loan possibility was mentioned at the same time as that of Keinan Davis - I've wondering if it had fallen through.
Mathaus Martins - an unusual name for a Brazilian? - looks like another young, bright prospect. Buy now and loan back until January so we are not scrabbling around for options during the next transfer window?
With all these comings, there must be a shed load of goings about to happen - it's starting to look a bit 2012ish - out with the old and in with the new.
If all those happen, or even some of them, then I reckon Sarr must be off.

Every day is a school day.Matheus is the Portuguese form of the name Matthew and Martins is a Portuguese surname (Spanish variant Martinez). Brazil was mainly colonized by the Portuguese, although the Dutch were present in the north-east.
Every day is a school day.![]()
'Every day is a school day' is just an expression in English - it's really just a (slightly humourous) alternative way of saying that you can learn something new every day. Which I just did.I responded because you asked the question about whether it was an usual name. Please excuse me if it sounded as that I was giving a school lesson. I have worked and lived in Brazil and I also have Brazilian family members, which is the reason that I know that both names are quite common. They are part of the Portuguese heritage.
Still, if they have started to sniff around, not good news to me.SNN are now saying that Newcastle's bid for Pedro was £17.5 million. No wonder we rejected it if that's true.

Something to do with his wages I imagine. $$$Why would he want sit in a Kapoc tent in the middle of winter on the Newcastle bench when he can be a hero here
I think you’re right. If all those happen, or even some of them, then I reckon Sarr must be off.
Jon Marks just said he will be available for the Preston match.I think you’re right.
