Someone said in the week that getting in a few new faces, who don't have our miserable experience against Chelsea in their memories, would be a good idea. It sounded good to me then...and just as good now. Swapping in Perisic and Bissouma would be likely to improve on what we're currently serving up.

This is on the back line + CM.. They cannot collectively accurately pass out / hold onto the ball under the remotest bit of opposition pressure.
Kane has been just as poor. The biggest issue is out link up play is non existent. The midfielders aren't doing it and neither are the WBs. Whatever we try, Chelsea have the ball again within 5 seconds. No point changing things if it is still 1-0 at half-time but there is definitely a niche down there for Perisic, Bissouma and Richarlison.
This is reminiscent of the game there in 2018 where we weren't playing well, went 1 down and came back to win 3-1.... .... Only kidding...no way are we scoring today
No idea how Son ends up as the nearest player to Koulibaly on a corner. He's useless defensively and we should just leave him up the pitch on set-pieces. They'd have to leave two back to deal with his pace.

You know what, I'd sooner keep Kane + Son on the halfway line and hoof it out towards them then have them defending so far back there will be no counter-attack coming anyway.
Only positive is that it should be 2 or 3. Kane has been as bad as anyone. Can’t hold on to the ball at all
At least Chelsea away is out the way early and the fact that however good or bad we both may be we always lose anyway so not a good barometer for the season.
